Dancer with Iceland Dance Company from 1997-2002 and from 2006
Education: Jefferson High School of the Performing Arts. University North Carolina School of The Arts.
Experience: Soloist with Tanz-Forum Koln, under the direction of Jochen Ulrich. Cameron has been one of the key dancers for the Iceland Dance Company over the years and has worked with many renowned choreographers such as Merce Cunningham, Donald McKayle, Jiri Kiljan, Rui Horta, Jorma Uotinen, Jo Strömgren and Alexander Ekman.
He has created his own choreographies and was for example one of three choreographers for Welcome Home and Kippa/six pack created for the Iceland Dance Company. He´s has also choreographed and performed in musicals for both the Reykjavik City Theatre and the National Theatre.
Cameron has taught dance at the Iceland National Ballet School, The Iceland Academy of the Arts, and at private schools in Iceland, Germany, and the USA. He is a founding member of the Reykjavik Dance Festival.
Cameron is an Aeries, born in the year of the Ox. He would like to have a job that doesn’t require him to shave.
