Felix began his Theatre studies in CEDART Diego Rivera in Mexico City and later on his dance training at the Dance Faculty of the University of Veracruz. In 2013 he collaborated with Inside the Body Performing Arts for the creation process of the piece Dogs and Angels, choreographed by Aladino R. Blanca. During his studies in SEAD, he worked with different choreographers, such as Eduardo Torroja/ Ultima Vez, Milla Koistinen, Manuel Ronda, Rakesh Sukesh and Francisco Cordova, amongst others. In 2014 he was a guest dancer with Needcompany for the piece All Tomorrow’s Parties I + II for the opening of Steirischer Herbst Festival in Graz. From 2017 to 2018 he was member of SEAD Bodhi Project, where he participated in creations from Cecilia Bengolea, Lali Ayguadé, Mala Kline, Jarkko Mandelin and Jan Lawers/ Paul Blackman/ Salzburger Festspiele; performing in different venues and festivals worldwide. In 2019 he collaborated with Shalala for the piece “Tomorrow Is Another Day of Wants and Needs”, again in Steirischer Herbst Festival.
Felix has taught dance workshops and classes both in Mexico and Reykjavik. In 2019, Felix , in collaboration with Mirna Gomez, created Planta de Fe Arte Escenico; a platform for the creation and research of identity in dance.
Felix has taken part in Iceland Dance Company productions since September 2018, performing in works by Erna Ómarsdóttir, Halla Ólafsdóttir, Valdimar Jóhannsson , Elina Pirinen and Steinunn Ketilsdóttir. Felix has also created other collaborative works such as “Social Dist-Dancing”, a collaboration with the musicians of Duo Harpverk: Frank Aarnink and Katie Buckley.
In 2012 he received the award for Best Choreography in ENEDAC (National Encounter for Contemporary Dance Students) in Mexico.
