Erna Ómarsdóttir has been appointed the company’s new Artistic Adviser. Erna is one of Iceland’s most renowned dancers and choreographers and has worked with some of the leading dance groups in Europe. Erna is well known for her work and has won several awards for her work and been named as the most promising dancer, choreographer and best dancer by Ballet Tanz.

Iceland Dance Company will for 2014-2015, under Erna’s guidance, be focusing on original pieces by Icelandic and othe aspiring choreographers, as well as taking on challenging dance pieces by world-class choreographers.
