Erna Ómarsdóttir and Valdimar Jóhannsson work with Iceland Dance Company to bring to life a happening, in conversation with the late visual artist and national hero Kjarval.
This happening is one of a series of events that will serve as a precursor to Sacrifice, a universal performance festival by Erna Ómarsdóttir, Valdimar Jóhannsson, Matthew Barney, Gabríela Friðriksdóttir and Ragnar Kjartansson. This new exciting work will premiere within the frame of RDF in March 2017.Sacrifice is produced by Iceland Dance Company, LÓKAL and Reykjavik City Theater.
