Reviews

“The choreography was fun and dynamic, the commentary was entertaining, and the dancers were excellent.”
Anna Manning for Grapevine

“Here you could experience the magic of improvisation, which is an interesting style. The flow of the environment creates a natural progression throughout the piece. Of course the dancers need to be familiar with the art of improvisation, which was not a problem for the dancers of Iceland Dance Company. It must have been interesting to work on this piece with the show’s artistic director, the dancer and choreographer Martin Kilvady, because the key to good improvisation  is a strong and interesting framework. The musicians, Tomas Manoury and Gudmundur Vignir Karlsson, who form the duo ManKan, are very good at their craft when in it involves both creating the music and the technical aspects as their computers are their instruments.”
