Iceland Dance Company will premiere three musical- and dance pieces on the evening “Nordic trilogy”.

L U G G A G E is a brand new dance piece by the award winning choreographer Valgerður Rúnarsdóttir. The piece is inspired by the memory and it´s constant development, how we relentlessly collect and disseminate material in the objective luggage compartments. The music is composed by Daníel Bjarnason.

Berserks: Mad as Wolves, Soft as Lambs. Spiced with Nordic mythology, trends and radical nature, Lene Boel´s new choreography is an explosive and magical blend of contemporary dance, break dance and classical ballet with an acrobatic twist.

Finnish – Icelandic twist.  Bryndís Halla Gylfadóttir will play Theme and Variations for Solo Celloby the finnish composer Jean Sibelius. Ellen Margrét Bæhrenz will dance a solo choreographed by Lára Stefánsdóttir.
