Da Da Dans

2016 marks the 100 year anniversary of Dadaism and Iceland Dance Company will be participating in this celebration with the premiere of Da Da Dans. 

In Da Da Dans the choreographers will explore the various views and methods of Dadaists and contemplate whether these methods and ideas are still relevant today.

Inga Huld and Rose are rising stars in the dance scene today and won the Icelandic Performing Arts Award 2016 for best choreography for their piece The Valley, which premiered at Reykjavik Dance Festival 2015.

Da da dans was premiered November 12th 2016 at the New stage at Reykjavik City Theater.
