At Dusk, We Embrace

We sat in the grass and the darkness came down. The only audible sounds were the sea and the dance of our voices. The night was filled with music.

A midwinter night’s dream where new music by Sigur Rós is met with the high pitched and breathy extreme physicality of Iceland Dance Company. Dancing, screaming and fighting to free themselves from the burdens of the past and embracing the endless night.

At dusk, we embrace first premiered on December 29th, 2017, at Sigur Rós’s arts festival Norður og niður in Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre.
