Experience
Andrean joined the company in the fall of 2017 with the show Norður og niður, where he danced in both The Great Gathering and Myrkrið faðmar.
He has been involved in various works since then, including pieces by Erna Ómarsdóttir, Damian Jalet, Anton Lachky, Ásrúna Magnúsdóttir, Alexander Roberts, Pieter Ampe, Steinunni Ketilsdóttir, and Elina Pirinen.
Outside of the company, he has collaborated with Bára Sigfúsdóttir on the project being, danced in the work LANDING by Eszter Salamon at the performing arts festival Kunsten Festival Des Arts, and performed in Atómstjarna by Sveinbjörg Þórhallsdóttir, Jóní Jónsdóttir, and Steinunn Ketilsdóttir. Additionally, he contributed to the creation of the piece Vatn og blóð by Görningaklubinn.
Andrean has composed his own works, including Unsettled and Mass Confusion, which were showcased at the Fringe Festival and Lunga 2019. He has also danced and composed for various music videos and is one of the three dancers of the anti-capitalist techno band Hatari.
Awards
Andrean won the Grímu Award as Talent of the Year in 2018 and has been nominated as Dancer of the Year in 2018 and 2020. On one hand, for his performance in Hin lánsömu by Anton Lachky, and on the other hand, for Þel by Katrína Gunnarsdóttir.
