Expirience

Elín Signý has been a member of the Iceland Dance Company since 2015. During that time she has worked with numerous choreographers, including Tom Weinberger, Anton Lachky, Erna Ómarsdóttir, Damien Jalet, Hooman Sharifi, Elina Pirinen, Peter Ampe, Alexander Roberts, Ásrún Magnúsdóttir, Ragnar Kjartansson, Margrét Bjarnadóttir, Steinunn Ketilsdóttir, Margrét Sara Guðmundsdóttir, Rósa Ómarsdóttir and Kata Gunnarsdóttir.
Elín Signý has also worked with dance companies abroad: Retina Dance Company in Belgium (2013), Mute Comp. Physical Theatre in Copenhagen (2014 and 2016), and The Nordic Beast in Copenhagen (2018). She participated in a collaborative project between the Iceland Dance Company and Nagelhus Schia Productions in Oslo (2020), and performed in Chiroptera by Damien Jalet and JR in Paris in 2023. In addition, she has danced and choreographed for commercials and music videos.
Elín Signý is a founding member, choreographer and performer in the improvisation dance group Kraftverk, which performs regularly in Iceland.
