In this performance, two distinct dance worlds meet—street dancers and contemporary dancers—each with their unique language and rhythm. On stage, the music is also performed live by musician Arash Moradi, who plays the tanbur, an ancient string instrument rooted in Persian and Kurdish musical traditions. His music serves as a unifying force, connecting different worlds into a single rhythm, highlighting tension, harmony, and the power of dance.
After the final performance on March 7, guests are invited to listen to a live conversation between musicians Arash Moradi and Elham Fakouri. Arash Moradi comes from a well-known musical family in Kurdistan and is a highly respected master of the tanbur. He has collaborated with musicians worldwide, using his music to bridge cultural divides. Elham Fakouri is a Persian musician who has been living in Iceland for many years. This is a unique opportunity for music students to experience how music can serve as a bridge between different art forms and cultures.
