The Iceland Dance Company takes part in the Pink Ribbon opening ceremony

The opening ceremony of the Pink Ribbon will take place on the main stage of the Reykjavík City Theatre on Friday, September 30. A grand program will be offered, featuring numerous artists, and the President of Iceland, Mrs. Halla Tómasdóttir, will address the gathering.

Among those performing is the Iceland Dance Company, which will present short excerpts from its latest work, Flóðreka, currently being developed by Aðalheiður Halldórsdóttir in collaboration with Jónsi (Sigur Rós). The full work will premiere at the City Theatre on November 8.
