Iceland Dance Company (IDC) – Audition Call for Professional Dancers

Iceland Dance Company (IDC) seeks highly skilled contemporary dance artists with rich performance presence, improvisation skills, strong technique, and a collaborative spirit. We are looking for dancers who thrive in ensemble work, bring artistic depth, and foster a positive, creative, and supportive studio environment.

Where & When
Auditions will take place at the IDC studio, Reykjavik City Theatre, on February 21–22, 2026.

What the Audition Is For
Dancers will be considered for upcoming projects, with the possibility of project-based or full-time contracts. Auditions may include technique class, improvisation, and short repertory phrases.

How to Apply / Register

• The audition is by invitation only.
• Applications should be completed via our Google Form by January 2, 2026.
• Required materials:
  • CV / Resume
  • Letter of motivation
  • Photo
  • Video (maximum 3 minutes), up-to-date and highlighting both your strengths and improvisation skills
• Invited applicants will be notified by January 9, 2026. Please ensure your email is correct and check your spam/junk folder.
